Hi Sandeep,
Yesterday I installed Oracle 8i on my machine. However I have not yet created the
database.
Because before creating the database I have to apply the patch for Oracle 8i.
Can you give me the exact link from where you got the patch ?
Only after that I can proceed with Database creation. What is the size of the patch ?
Regarding my yesterday's mail that if I run the oracle intallation script from the CD
than I
was getting permission denied error, instead of putting ./ to run the script I tried
bash <script name> and it works. What is the difference between the two and why it was
giving the above error
when I run it using ./ :-)
Any ideas.
Thanks in advance.
