[LIH] vsnl dial up

hi
i am pretty new to linux so can anyone tell me how to use my redhat 6.1
linux to connect to my vsnl account and also how to configure my
x-windows resolution since the one i get is too big for my screen .wat
commands or procedure has to b followed to change the resolution in
x-windows.
