Hi Kapil,

If you really want to block the telnet access your
users then do the following things;

1)comment the telnet entry in your /etc/inetd.conf
file
2) restart the inet service by /etc/rc.d/init.d/inet
start at the prompt.

I have verified the above process by connecting using
linux clients as well as windows clients and telneting
was impossible to the server.
