When I try to mount a fat32 partition as:
mount -t vfat /dev/hda1 /dosc
I get the following error:

Transaction block size = 512
VFS: Can't find a valid MSDOS filesystem on dev 03:01.
mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/hda1,
or too many mounted file systems
When I run fdisk, the following is the output:
Disk /dev/hda: 64 heads, 63 sectors, 1023 cylinders
Units = cylinders of 4032 * 512 bytes
Device Boot Begin Start End Blocks Id System
/dev/hda1 * 1 1 481 969664+ b Win95 FAT32
