Hi,
Yesterday I installed on My 17GB HDD, Win98 and SuSE 6.3 as well as Oracle 8i.
After struggling for 2 days to configure LILO I had to be satisafied with
loadlin. My main problem is bios does not support more than 8.4GB HDD and as
a result I have to use Diskwizard software to install ONtrack OS from seagate.
Thus Ontrack OS is the first thing loaded and than my HDD is recongnised as
17GB.
Now my problem is, since LILO is not installed. If in future I upgrade my RAM
to 128MB than how should I tell Linux about it.(I can not use mem=128M).
Currently my RAM is 48MB. If I upgrade it to 64MB than most probably I should
not face any problems in Linux.
Any help in this regards will be of greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
