Hello rahul,

I am Vivek, 15 years old. I am glad that you installed
X on SiS 6215c. It is quite a challenge. I also have
same card. But I too face the same problem. The
resolution is not nice. But you can do one thing.
Remove linux, when you reinstall go for custom
installation, then select Gnome and KDE both, also
create a boot floppy if you want to use windows too.
KDE looks more attractive and is more user-friendly.
SO you will find KDE more attractive.

If you want more help then tell me which motherboard
do you have according to that i can tell you which
graphic card to buy which can fit in your pocket and
give you the resolution you like. ok
tell me what you feel
bye
