Dear friend,

It is a very minor problem. I can guide you to install
RedHat linux on your system. Start normal
installation. When the installation detects your card,
carefully see what's written on the screen. If your
monitor is detected then you will either see your
monitor number or PLug and play monitor. If it has
failed to detect your graphic card then below click on
Skip X configuration. When installation is over login
as root. then type "Xconfigurator" this will help you
configure and install your monitor and graphic card.
First it will show a list of graphic cards. if you do
not see your's then select Unlisted card. then you
will be asked for server select SVGA. then you will
asked about monitor if you do not find your monitor
then select Custom. Then you will be asked for
vertical sync hz. DO NOT BLUFF. take your monitor
manual and specify the correct values. generally it is
50-90hz. then there will be a dialog box saying Dont't
probe and Probe. Select Probe. It will try to run X.
Then it will ask whether you can see X or not. Select
yes and then you will be asked whether you want to
start X at system start or not. Select yes. You are
done. Type reboot. when your system reboots you should
see GUI (X). if you dont then ask me for further
assistance. By the way i am vivek, 16 years old in
Baroda, Gujarat. if you live in baroda then i can come
to your place and install it.

bye
