Launch XConfig.
There is an icon called 'Communications' or something like that. Launch
it.
There will be a pulldown. Choose 'XDMCP Broadcast' in it. Also, further
down that window you will see a checkbox. Make sure it is checked. There
would be a button next to it. click the button. It will launch notepad
and open some file. Add a line to this file with the IP address or fully
qualified domain name of the machine you want to connect to. Save and exit
notepad.
Click OK.
In the XConfig window you will see an icon for window mode or something
like that. Choose 'Single window'. Also put in some sizes.
Launch Exceed.
