I just learned that Palcom (where I am right now) has a local Tucows
mirror. Hit http://tucows.palcom.net/ for really zippy downloads from
your VSNL account. The Linux section seems to be more or less
complete, but do let me know if any files are missing (we're still in
the process of mirroring tucows completely).
If you like this service, do send a mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and ask
them to mirror your favourite Linux sites (reasonable amounts of data,
OK? :-) too. http://www.kernel.org would be a good starting point,
but it needs you to convince the powers-that-be that there is a
demand.
BTW, tucows.palcom.net mirrors other tucows categories (including
Winduhs) too, but who's interested in those? :)
