| We are in a intranet containing 60 machines including NT server, NT WS,
| Win98, Linux servers and Linux WS. We are sharing Linux resources using
| samba.
| change the line 'security = xxx' in /etc/sbm.conf to,
| security = share

    Share level security has its own limitations. If you want to revoke
rights to an user for share, you have to change the password for the share
and communicate the change to everybody except him. Also, you may need the
users to remember so many passwords - one for each share etc. User level
security is more better - you get finer control - Particulary in an
environment with 60 machines.
