        I think this is the same problem as I faced over PPP -- My
/etc/ppp/options file was trying to figure my IP address by itself,
and allocating itself and doing some funny things -- basically, just
a peek at the options/conf{ig} file(s) for ISDN *should* fix things,
IMO -- It took me less than a minute to figure out this problem on
PPP..
