Did the above for /usr(runlevel 3). Startx complained that config file is not
available.
ls /usr shows all the folders as usual and XF86Config was there in the  usual
location(RH6.2).
Moved /usr  back to hda6 and now startx is not complaining. Some more tinkering
is required to get going.
