I have changed AllowOverride None To AllowOverride AuthConfig and restated
httpd still it is not looking for .htaccess file.
My .htaccess file looks like following.
order allow,deny
allow from all
require valid-user
Authname admin
Authtype Basic
AuthUserFile /path to/.htpasspwd
Please suggest where I am making the mistake.
Thank you.
