Hi All!

i recently got my 2nd hard disk, a Segate 17.2GB.
i installed it as secondary slave 'n left my old hard-disk(Segate 4.2GB)
as primary master(cdrom is the secondary master).
i have installed RHL 6.1 on the new hdd, keeping the boot partition on
the old hdd.
everything was fine for a short while, when all of a sudden it gave an
error during boot up saying :

"Warning...fsck.ext2 for device /dev/hdd9 excited with signal 10
[FAILED]"

hdd9 is my /usr partition, 'n the same partition that is always
affected.

it then drops me into the root shell.if i run fsck on the partition 'n
reboot, it works fine.
i do shutdown the machine properly.
the problem repeats quite often, say once in 3 or 4 days.
am i missing something here??
Please help.

Sanjeev
