I had configured sendmail.cf , I have doubt that I edited .fetchmailrc properly I am
sending the contents of the .fetchmailrc
set daemon=0
poll pn2.vsnl.net.in with protocol POP3:
no dns, aka XXX.com
user john@pn2 is * here
password XXXXX
"XXX.com" is our domain name
"john@pn2" is our vsnl account
"XXXXX" is our vsnl account password
And when I run fetchmail I get this error
Fetchmail:/ root/.fetchmailrc:2: parse error at poll
I have doubts
user john@pn2 :- is it here vsnl account or the local users account or something else
password XXXXX :- is this vsnl account password, or something else like users password
Please let me know where I had gone wrong
