Hi,
I am new member of the Linux Usergroup, I have a problem with the Linux Os (RedHat
6.1)
Today I forgot my root password, so I rebooted the system as "linux 1 " , that is the
single user mode., now after logging in , I changed the password, Now i want to know
how to
restore the Linux into the multi-user mode?
Another problem is whether i try to run Gnome, i get upto the desktop and then
xwindows
hangs. what could be the problem here?
Please help me in getting information on the above mentioned problem,
Also tell me , where can i find information on the common problems that a new Linux
user
faces and how to deal with such problems.
