New to the list....problem with intel CA810 mb & RH 6.2 (pcq)......
Problem:
when I start X-server, I get the messages
(--) SVGA: PCI: Intel Unknown chipset (0x7123) rev 2, Memory @
0xf8000000, 0xfea
80000
gart allocate: cannot allocate memory
(--) SVGA: allocation of 1024 pages failed at page 0
Fatal server error
Aborting
My sys config is:
Rh 6.2, kernel 2.2.14-12, on intel CA810 board, celeron 460Mhz, 64M ram
Yes, I have looked at shanu's page, and also have agpgart.o & alias for
agpgart in /etc/conf.modules set up. I was browzing through the
archives and found that kobian boards have problems, but mine is an
intel made board........any help appreciated
