hello
i tried to reconfigure the monitor and the disply card
using the setup option .but the system hanged while
probing . i lost the x-windows ever since.i have to
boot up into the text-mode and any attempt of
reconfiguring X-configuration leads to hanging of the
system at the probing stage.
i have trident 3D blade card and samsung samtron 55E
monitor.over and above this the bios gives this error
at startup:
Please enter SETUP to set the clock ratio.
what should i do to get rid of this error?(i have the
bios from "Award")
i am to get my X-windows back. all u linux gurus
please help.
