2.2 (with an updated kernel) is in testing right now. You _can_
install 2.1 and upgrade the kernel you know ;)
(and also sendmail - there's a r00t exploit in 8.10.1 and lower with
kernels below 2.2.12 - http://www.sendmail.org for more)
