No constraints at all. In fact, this is the strength of Linux! People
have had uptimes of *years* with Linux. And then rebooting only to
change hardware or the kernel! :-)

IIRC, there was a bug in some version of Windows, which made it hang
after 40 - 50 days... that is, if it lasts so long without giving you
the Blue Screen(tm)! ;-)
