Hi,
My Graphics card is SiS6215 and not SiS6326.
Just Last sunday I installed SuSE6.3 on a SiS6326 card without any problems. No manual
tweaking needed.
Just run xf86setup and use SiS6326 card from the list of cards and use SVGA server.
That's all. I got 1024x768 resolution on a PII machine with the above card without any
problem.
Following are the contents from device section of my XF86Config file (SiS6215 card) :
<snip>
Section "Device"
Identifier "My Video Card"
VendorName "Unknown"
BoardName "Unknown"
VideoRam 2048
Option "fast_vram"
Option "pci_burst_on"
# Option "sw_cursor"
# Option "hw_clocks"
# Option "no_accel" # Use this if acceleration is causing problems
# Option "fifo_moderate"
# Option "fifo_conserv"
# Option "fifo_aggresive"
Chipset "sis86c205"
# Insert Clocks lines here if appropriate
EndSection
<snip>
Hope this helps.
