4 virtual desktops ??? As I told you, 99.9% of my work is done under text
mode - I don't even have X running normally - So why would I care about
better buffering & rendering ?

What I was trying to stress is that for someone like me who runs X probably
once in a week, an 8MB Banshee would be a criminal waste of money ;-)
