Hi,
I don't think it is a good idea to compile apm as a module. It doesn't
serve much purpose that way. Cause, then how is the system gonna know
when to shut off and when to do a standby and what not ? Usually it is
a good idea to compile apm in the kernel.
Essentially the point is how is it gonna load automatically ? there
should be something already in the kernel to determine that or am I
wrong somewhere ? Please do correct me in case I am wrong.
Bye
Regards
Carter
