        Welcome to Linux :-)

        IMO the following books may be useful, though they are a bit advanced
 compared to other general books on linux.
        o  Linux in a Nutshell by O'reilly
        o Linux Install and Configuration : Little Black Book

        If u are a total newbie for linux and unix you may try some others
like
        o  Linux Unleashed
        o  Linux A complete Reference

        However the best way to learn linux (or unix) is by experimenting
and man paging.
        $ man __command__
