Note: I know. I know. I promised that I'd write a script to post more
interesting statistics. But I just didn't have the time. Not all my time
has been wasted. I am currently in the process of writing a hitchikers
guide to the galaxy plugin for Jamie Zawinski's xscreensaver (that was what
all my questions in LIP about random() was about). The project is at a
pretty advanced stage and will be available for download. As soon as I am
done with that, I will have more time to work on the list statistics
script.

"Original lines" are the subset of "Total Lines" that are not
preceeded by ">".
"Noise" is the other part -- the quoted material.
This script doesn't do anything clever with HTML, so the stats will
be off for HTML messages (no detection of quoted material, and
bloated line counts.)
