Hi Kalpana,
i am also subb-ed to all mailing lists at my mailandnews.com id, which
get forwarded to my home internet pop3 account (mantra or currently
dishnet). indeed, these are easy and much faster to download compared to
web based servers.
i had previously been forwarding yahoo and altavista mails to my other
account and i think one or both of them had been overwriting the TO:
with my id at that server.
as far as TO retaining the name of the original sender, or overwriting
with your id at that server, i guess that these are specific policies of
the mail admin and you and i would not have much say in that.
what is so special about 123india with them having such policies. open
another web mail which retains TO: id. Mailandnews.com does.
regards.
