Nope.

PCQ did not give you a PCQ Linux distro CD. They gave you a RHL 6.2 GPL
CD1. Other compulsions aside, I believe whatever changes they incorporated
into the distro, had to be done close to a month earlier coz they'd have to
generate the n number of CDs needed for the June mag. The problems are more
logistical than anything. If PCQ went as far as to update all the packages
to cutting edge at release time, they might as well bring out a distro of
their own;)

Asking for a package just because the old one does not support for your
system out of the box is absurd. I have never had any problems with LILO,
with any size of hard disk. You have to partition the drive correctly to do
the job. I could take the matter a bit further and say that PCQ did not
bundle XEmacs at all, the latest Enlightenment, Windowmaker, etc etc, but
is it justified?....Also, remember that Redhat is usually the last distro
to announce a release, and usually has old versions, save a few like
sendmail and bind. If you want the latest, then there are always other
distros.

Getting the latest version of the software does not always solve the
problem. Chances are, 99% of what you want to do today has been done
before.

Should they?
