Installed SuSe 6.3 from a demo CD and got the base install going
(the CD was a bit faulty so I didn't try full install)
Two hassles - I see that the kernel has not been installed (it is still
using my old 2.2.14 kernel I used with redhat instead of Suse's
2.2.13 kernel whose source is stuck there in /iib), and also ppp is
not functioning as it is looking for ppp support from the old kernel
which seems to have got broken.
Further, lilo hasn't been installed and lilo.conf seems blank - it's
pulling along on the old lilo - :(
