zillions of times we had had this debate like what's the use of all
these courses ? are we doing enough things by hand ? so essentially
question boiled down to something like : what good is an electrical
engineer if he can't mend a ceiling fan ?? theory vs. hands-on. but at
the end of it when we had a chance to do things by hand, we saw the
light. knowing theory helps, and progress is rapid, knowledge-sphere is
wide, and u can tackle more problems. so knowing things at theoretical
level also has a value.
