your isp server uses PAP auth..
remove "sername:--sername AND assword:--assword"
from your ppp-on-dial script.
then add your username to papsecrets file in the
/etc/ppp dir
alternatively u can use wvdial which comes with rh6
series or u can download it..
it very easy connecting and modifying the script using
wvdial ..
it still having problems do mail again
