You can devote a fairly large amount of disk space to build a 
cache.....either use the squid proxy cache or use wwwoffle. Squid draws 
heavily on resources though. Also, both of these do not show appreciable 
speed increases for a single user at home...maybe at large offices which 
have a permanent but slow connections, caching would be a BIG help.
