Dear people,
I have just gone through the howtos concerning mailing et al. And it has
left me more confused than anything else.
Here is my situation...
I use linux at home. Me and my brother both have accounts at mail.com
from where our mails get forwarded to our pop account through our ISP.
Now the thing is I want that all the messages are downloaded and sorted
in such a way that both of us don't get to see each others mail. So I
want fetchmail (or procmail or sendmail or what???) to get our mail..
sort it and send it to our respective home directories, depending on the
who the messages are addressed to... I know that such a thing can be
done. I got a gist of those how tos but I am totally confused between
MTAs and MUAs and alieases and things. I have Linux unleashed and it
seems to skim over everthing. Could somebody please explain?
Maybe off the list if this kind of thing isn't really the hot topic
here?
