Hi,
If I try to connect to mysql server using the following function, it gives me error.
my statements in php script :

$dbuser='rajesh';
$dbhost='localhost';
$dbpass='mypass';
$dbname='rajesh';
$mysql_link=mysql_connect ($dbhost,$dbuser,$dbpass);
error returned by browser :
-------------------------
Fatal error: Call to unsupported or undefined function mysql_connect() in
/usr/local/httpd/htdocs/bookex1.php3 on line 14
However If I try to connect to mysql database using command line client mysql it works
fine.
What could be wrong ?
