        Check the /etc/hosts file that it contains loopback and your
host's information correctly. Give the complete information like
     IP.Nu.mb.er   hostname.domainname  aliasforhosts
eg my /etc/hosts has:

127.0.0.1               localhost.localdomain localhost
172.31.80.32            ajayd.cc.iitk.ac.in     ajayd

        raven.com isn't a hostname but a domainname.You will have to set a
hostname also. You can send a mail with any domain name but you won;t be
able to receive any mail if the domain name does not have a DNS entry.

        You can set your domain name in /etc/sysconfig/network as
HOSRNAME=yourhostname
DOMAINNAME=raven.com
