Hello all,
I am new to this list. I recently installed linux 6.2 from PCQuest
june Cd. i have a KDE workstation. my m/c is P-166MMX, 16MB ram,8.4GB
hdd, SiS 6215 display card. now the problem is my display card is not
exactly listed in card-database. one similar card is Sis SV6C215. i
dont know if this is right one. so on starting X-server, all
text,windows, icons appear very big. i can view only 40% of my
desktop. my video ram memory is only 1MB. is this the problem? why am
i not getting normal resolution display(640x480)? Please help.
