Probably downloading the archives and using htdig to do a keyword search
might help.
The distros sure can put in some part of the rutgers mailing lists if the
add a few couple of CDs more to the pack (or a new company that
specialises in linux list archives with full text search running right off
the CD is not a bad idea - any takers? if not, then please forward the
idea to your nearest entrepreneur)
As for the linux-india lists it already features a very good full text
search facility. go to
