Hi
Sorry for (rather) wrong posting. I digged thr. my filesystem and found a
horrible fact that many of shared libraries and binaries are set to the
length 0.
I have seen DMA getting disabled frequently. Also message at shut down
like 'deleted bit already marked for inode xxx. Cleared'.
I believe that my file system is heavily corrupted due to mobo problems.
Strangly this fellow behaves rather disciplined under windows.
Also I am bugged with a problem that mobo keeps on checkig whether
keyboard is alive or not. Something like thrice in a minute. And after the
check, keyboard behaves as if left shift/cotrol/alt is pressed. It does
not come out of lock state for 5-10 minutes. It's really painful on
working on it. Interestingly both the chek and the lock, only occurs in
linux.
Anyway I am giving that mobo for buy back today. Getting a AMD k6II-500.
I hope a reinstall would cure everything...
Bye
Shridhar
