hi list want to change the xdm login screen. was able to change the background image and bitmap after making the changes in /etc/X11/xdm/Xsetup_0 . (have Pcq RH6.2)however i am unable to change the size and appearance of login widget. the info i got from red hat site was quite old ( for RH 5.2 actually). as they had said , i am changing the /etc/X11/xdm/Xresources file, however that has no effect whatsoever. would appreciate ur help tia and regards -- Rajeev Jha ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Check out the 'What to do before posting to the list' site for a list of things to try before posting.
