[LIH] Why does Netscape Messenger exit when I use address book to address my mail

Hi,

I have setup to use  my ISP connection with Linux and Netscape Messenger.  Although 
netscape accepts the email addresses when I type,  it terminates without any error
message if I try to address it by selecting the email id from the address book. I use 
Netscape communicator version 4.7
