What the hell? You must be able to remove screws of your cabinet and remove the
hdd? What it has to do with Linux?

man fdisk, man cfdisk, man mke2fs. This will help you formatting a partition
with ext2 file system.

What is a slave?  I have given above the steps to remove data and format the
system.

I am sure whatever  I have answered was not your question? could you please
