Ok. We missed this point, assuming the installation was of RH6.2 or winlinux.
>otherwise, (if u did repartition)use a bootdisk again and do
>a:\>sys a: c:
Unnecessary, don't do this.
>copy a:\fdisk.exe to c:\
Why copy the fdisk? c:\windows\command\fdisk.exe does exist!!
>and do
>c:\>fdisk /mbr
fdisk/mbr will work anyway, C:\windows\command is in the path settings.
>this ought to remove the lilo boot from your hd.
It might not. lilo -u will do that.
>to recover the linux partition(and use again with dos) use fdisk and
DOS fdisk??? This is crazy. You will have to use a proper partitioning tool like Linux
fdisk to delete Linux partitions, unless you have only one Linux partition on your HD.
>delete the linux partition(i assume u know how to do that, else mail me and i will
>give u step-by-steo instructions)
Those were given on the list, m at the fdisk prompt will tell you more. man fdisk is
of course recommended.
