not always in the path. especially if you are booting from a floppy,
there is least possibility of it being in the path. depends on your
autoexec. giving entire path from root is failsafe.

win fdisk is having an option of removing non-dos partition as linux
partiiton is called in dos/win.

though i agree that disk druid or linux fdisk are better more versatile
powerful bet for the purpose.
