There are binary and source RPMS of qt 2.1.1 at
http://people.redhat.com/bero/experimental/.

The binaries are supposed to work on RH 6.2, but the source rpm will
hopefully work on Suse. If you have bandwidth galore, you can try out
the binaries first, and then try compiling from src rpms. (Just do rpm
--rebuild <srcrpm>, and you'll get RPMS in /usr/src/redhat/RPMS)

But there is a minor bug in the RPMS provided by Bero. In the
/etc/profile.d/qt.sh file, it says "export QTDIR=/usr/lib/qt-2.1.0" -
it should be 2.1.1. Just change that, and you should be fine. :-)
I have made bugfixed RPMS, but it's still only with me! ;-)

If all this doesn't work (because RH rpms aren't guaranteed to work on
Suse), the "easiest" thing to do would be to download the source! ;-)
