Hi Saurabh,
I am using GVC 33.6 modem on Linux for the last 1 and 1/2 years. I am using wvdial to
connect
to the net. The contents of my wvdial are as follows. You can put the same in your
/etc/wvdial.conf file and try out. It should work. It works for me.
/etc/wvdial.conf
[Dialer goatelecom]
Username = myusername
Modem = /dev/ttyS0
Password = mypassword
Area Code
Init1 = ATZ
Init2 = ATQ0 V1 E1 S0=0 &C1 &D2 S11=55 +FCLASS=0
