Put this line in /etc/conf.modules (if redhat) or /etc/modules.conf (lots of
other distros) - alias char-major-108 ppp
> shutting down http: Failed
> shutting down sendmail : Failed
> shutting down ppp0 interface : failed
I think they are just misconfigured. What hostname have you set, and what do
/var/log/messages entries say about this?
