telnet to the pc on port 110 ( the pop3 port) and try issuing
user <ur username>
pass < ur passwd>
stat

and see whether qpop is working or not. Other wise check if your netscapes
mail servers ip settings and also make sure its set to ppo3 and not imap.
Netscape messenger should'nt crib if qpop is running ok.
