if all you want to do is install windows just insert yr windows cd rom
boot from it and install.
if you have linux partitions left boot your linux installation cd and
delete all unnecessary partitions using disk druid or linux fdisk.

If lilo is still residing on the disk you can get rid of it using fdisk
/mbr (windows fdisk not linux)
this will overwrite the mbr.
You need to have one primary partition for windows. multiple primary
partitions might confuse it. ( though my machine at home has two primary
partition, one of which is ext2 and hence invisible to windows.
Install windows on the primary partition
