Yes. I have installed on my red hat partition gnome helix given by CHIP. It works
great and there
are some nice improvements over the earlier gnome. Though gnome is good, I still
prefer KDE. :-)
I even use some gnome applications such as gqview( with which I can view multiple
picture files
through a explorer like interface) in KDE.
Most interesting thing is that they have distributed grip which is an excellent CD
ripper and
mp3 encoder.
