I am new to Linux and as part of the final project I have been entrusted
with the following:-
* To harden the Linux kernel by removing all services that are not
required by the system likely to be used in army environment.
* To prepare a Linux distribution with only the required application /
services.
My achievement so far :-
* Have been able to recompile the exiting kernel of the Redhat 6.2 none
of the services removed.
* Have a fair idea of the services to be removed.
* Have been working in Linux for about two month and in the process of
learning.
Keeping in view my knowledge gained so far could u suggest as to how I
should go about the project.
