Hello:

1) Set "Plug & Play aware OS" to "NO" from the BIOS setup screen

2) Remove the stale configuration files for the PNP stuff 'rm -i
/etc/isapnp*'

3) Boot into Windows and note down the IRQ, IO and DMA values for the
sound card. You should find it under Control Panel -> System Properties 

4) Configure sound using the RHL sound configuration utility manually
sndconfig --noprobe --noautoconfig 

5) Select your sound card and choose IO, IRQ and DMA values as in
Windows.
